How Do You Eat An Elephant?
In bite sized chunks of course ...
This principle of moving forward, step by step, applies to any entrepreneur when building a super successful businesses - although in business this is termed 'Kaizen' which is Japanese for 'improvement' or even simpler, it's about changing for the better ...
there may not be an elephant in the room, but there's always room for improvement, isn't there?
Kaizen is a philosophy or set of working practices that focus upon continuous improvement of processes generally applied to manufacturing, engineering, business, management and leadership.
It has been applied in healthcare, psychotherapy, life-coaching, government, banking, and many other industries.
"It really is that flexible!"
When used in the business sense and applied to the workplace, Kaizen refers to activities which continually improve all functions and involves all employees from the CEO to the cleaners!
It also applies to processes such as purchasing and logistics that cross organisational boundaries into the supply chain, by improving standardised activities and processes.
Kaizen aims to eliminate waste and was first implemented in several Japanese businesses directly after the second world war and was influenced by American business and quality management specialists like W Edwards Deming.
"So what can you do - bit by bit - to improve your business processes?"
If you'd like some help to move forward, step by step, and implement Kaizen in your business, your life or your sporting world, call me on 0333 335 0421 and let's see how I can help you to become super successful!
